Pre Session Tips

I wanted to create an area to access post energy healing that is a reference for best practices for self care.

Before

  • Avoid heavy meals / stressful days / create space for the reiki

  • Bring water to your session for rehydration.

  • 24 hrs >no alcohol.
    Create your Intention

  • Think about what you’d like to focus on (e.g., “I want to feel more grounded,” “I’m releasing anxiety”). Relaxation, time out, an extra boost, meditative reset etc.

  • You don’t need a deep reason—but a clear focus can open your energy to healing.
Arrive Calm (or allow time to settle)

  • Arrive a few minutes early if in person.

  • If you have driven, give yourself these minutes to settle and silence your phone.

  • Wear comfortable layered clothes. Yoga / compression clothing is a great option.
    Spiritual prep:

  • You can meditate, journal, or pray if that’s your practice.

  • Some people bring crystals or meaningful objects, but it’s not required.

  • Ask for what you need or any special requirements.

Reiki Post Session

I wanted to create an area to access post energy healing that is a reference for best practices for self care.

  • Please hydrate accordingly (water) to support the body releasing toxins naturally

  • Taking time to relax allows your body and mind to process the healing that's taken place.

  • 48hrs after reiki allow your energetic body the healing required for renewal & reintegration.

  • It is highly recommended to stay free from alcohol, caffeine and other stimulants.

  • Stay away from refined sugars and energy snacks/drinks etc.

  • Respond appropriately by giving your body what it asks for eg. rest, sleep, hydration etc.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise keep it light/moderate

  • It is always useful to journal the emotions to understand the energy you feel within. Consider the following questions after a Reiki session, and beyond: How do your emotions before & after compare? Where in your body do you feel most improved?

  • I highly recommend booking at least one follow up reiki healing session within a week to deepen the experience and healing. This also helps provide clarity and strengthens the results.

I hope these few tips help you maximise the energy healing for you here at wellbeing warrior.
