Calming, grounding & emotional realignment.
Reiki is generally described as an holistic treatment and an energy healing system,
re-discovered in the early 1900's by Japanese buddhist and scholar Dr. Mikao Usui. We are all a flow of energy and that energy can be disturbed, disrupted and low through diet, anxiety, stress and trauma experiences in our daily lives. We all know that we are both an energetic and a physical both as one.
The Steps of a Reiki Treatment
1 Receiving Energy (Activation for healing & free flowing of energy)
2 Reiki for Sleep (letting go, releasing, calming, grounding)
3 Reiki for Stress (anxieties, breathing & balance restoration)
4 Reiki for Sealing / Gratitude (Protection, guidance and intuition)
Here are some key facts how it works*
Reiki is - literally - very hands-on: The energy is transmitted by simply placing your hands on / off a client - or even on yourself. It is also possible to give a treatment as a distance session.
Reiki is "truly sustainable energy": The more you give to other people, the more energized you become yourself.
Reiki can heal your life - in a truly encompassing sense. Not only does it stimulate your body's innate healing abilities and deal with physical ailments, it goes right down to the root of problems, whether physical, mental, or emotional.
Reiki helps to relax and cope with stress, harmonising body and mind, and aiding meditation.
Reiki starts a detox process in the body, helping to rid itself of the toxins we take in every day.
Reiki increases intuition and will help you to become more aware of your life's purpose.
Reiki is a spiritual path, re-connecting you with the power and peace within yourself.
Reiki is not a religion. It is simply a tool that works with whatever religious path you have chosen for your life - and equally well, if you do not follow traditional religious beliefs
Reiki is "applied quantum physics". It works on the level that makes the fabric of the universe, slowly un-doing the illusional world that we created.
Lineage - I am trained in both: Usui Shiki Ryoho
The traditional Western lineage, going back to Mikao Usui.
Brought to the West in 1936 by Mrs Hawayo Takata, it is the most popular and widely accepted tradition.
Usui Reiki Ryoko
A lineage that also goes back to Mikao Usui, but stayed in secrecy in Japan until the 1980s. Today it is becoming more and more popular, and also taught by many in the West. *Key facts Source: Reiki Academy where I qualified.
